This storefront on Columbia Street always catches my eye. No idea what it once was, but the owner obviously isn't interested in selling or renovating. It gives you a nice idea of the look of most shops back then: the mini-cornice overhead, the twin window displays with the recessed door between, the wood-framing withal. Don't know why it's not copied by more newly erected stores.
