I know the Broadway branch of the Queens Library used to have a few wooden phone booths until I was in college, which alas, was 20 years ago. I haven't been to that branch since. I do know they "renovated" recently, so they may have been removed.

Another wooden phone booth sighting lies in the circa 86 year-old walls of Eddie's Sweet Shop at 105-29 Metropolitan Ave in Forest Hills. Copy & Paste this link into your browser, as well as view the other photos of one of the last classic ice cream parlors citywide:

There used to be one inside the Film Center Cafe on 44th and 9th in Manhattan when I used to go there in the 90s. Don't know if it's still there. I would think so.

I recently scouted the Appellate Division of the NY Supreme Court-
45 Monroe Pl. Was thrilled to see the wooden telephone booths. Also, I'm pretty certain Ear Inn, Tribeca are on West side has one.

Great site! Thanks.

The Research Library of the New York Public Library on 5th and 42nd St. has a number of them on different floors. The ground floor and the first floor I think. They are on the north (42nd St.) side of the building at the foot of the marble staircases.
