You have to crane your neck to see this forgotten sign for the Greenwich Savings Bank. It's on the east face of a building on w. 57th Street just next door to Bergdorf Goodman. It looks to have been there for some time. The bank was chartered way back in 1833 and finally swallowed by Crossland Savings in 1985. The Art Deco, woodblock style of the sign is very nice, I think.
