Liquor Bar


I don't care how young this Lower East Bar is, or how vacuously trendy. Any tavern that advertises itself "Liquor Bar" is cool in my book.

    One of my favorite bar names is the Guyanese nightclub "Larry's Liquid Love," on Bedford Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant. You should see the sign at night.
