A Good Sign: Holtzman & Paris Meats & Poultry and Paskesz' Kosher Candies
Actually two. But they are side by side on 13th Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn, so I put them together. To me, they look like they might have been made by the same sign company around the same time.
My Dad who is now deceased was Holtzman of Holtzman & Paris. He started this business when he came to America after being in the concentration camps @ Ghetto Lodz. I am happy and sad to see this, Let me tell all that I am so proud of who my dad was and will always be A loving daughter
I was happy and sad to see your post, Anonymous. Your father was a good man. And he had good taste in signs. Can you tell me who "Paris" was? And when did the shop pass out of family hands?
