I like this large vertical sign on the building that holds Cobble Hill's Book Court. It reminds me of the way stores used to advertise their presence in the past.
Too bad that Orange County -style banner is in the way.
I think the banners, spread all over NYC, may be the most insidious of Bloomberg's creations.
Some have been sold as ad space and, added to the Cemusa bus stop ad platforms, help deliver the Bland Suburban Message to every single corner of town.
