Brand New Bagels


Bagels on the Park, the Carroll Gardens mainstay which has been looking pretty scruffy of late, seems to be undergoing a renovation. The windows on the Smith Street storefront are papered over and a sign on the door says the place in closed for vacation. Lets hope they finally put up a new sign, so the joint doesn't advertise itself at the Park Lane Florist anymore (a former inhabitant).

    Me too - you'd think the Jeremiah of "the vestiges of Old New York as they are steamrolled under or threatened" would be into the old sign...
