It looks like the Cloder Corp. moved into that space in 1957 from their previous location at 177 Broadway and sold art, drawing, and drafting supplies and equipment. Their slogan at one point was "Your Supply Store". And I assume they were the same company as "B. E. Cloder Corp." that advertised as the "Complete Supply House For Your Engineering Needs" and shed the "B. E." somewhere along the way. There is/was a Cloder Corporation at 44 West 18th that sells/sold similar material, but I don't know if they're connected.
