As reported yesterday, the Vermont Market and Pharmacy's encounter with the Discovery Channel "Construction Intervention" reality series ended yesterday, with the Carroll Gardens corner storefront (now officially called the Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain) transformed into the above beauty. Isn't it a delight? Don't you want a phosphate right this instant?
It will be a number of weeks before the place is open for business (I couldn't get any inside shots just yet), but I think Henry Street kids should prepare themselves for the possibility of egg creams and malted this very summery. Hot dog!
