This building which has this graffiti of wisdom was formerly owned by Zero Mostel who used the upper floors for his painting studio. Sadly the building has become another "Wholesale Costume jewelry"store. With in a 2 block area of this building on West 28th street are approximately 32 stores sell "Costume Jewelry" a fact and oddity that no one seems to notice that writes about changing neighborhoods perhaps it is that the owners are usually Korean Americans and don't wish to much attention?
In any event as more of these faux jewelry stores open I wonder who buys all of this stuff?
