A Good Sign: Starbucks Coffee


Yes, Starbucks. Saw this branch of the coffee chain in Washington, D.C.'s Chinatown. Hey, a good sign is a good sign. And this kinda rocks.

    The five characters in descending order are...

    星 (xing), the character for star
    巴 (ba) + 克(ke) = 'bucks' transliteration
    咖 (ka) + 啡 (fei) = coffee/café
