For the first time in nearly three years—since the infamously derelict Cobble Hill building
was declared a menace by the City, boarded up and surrounded by scaffolding—the Rat-Squirrel house can be seen.
The scaffold was taken down recently. And the facade, which has been
worked on steadily over the past six months, doesn't look bad at all. Still needs a door and glass in the windows, but the cornice work looks pretty decent.
