That's One Old Card Store—I Think
I noticed this card shop on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge. Boy, does it look old. Not just because of the old-fashioned contours of the storefront and the cast-iron cornice. But because the owners have let it look old. That's one weather-beaten awning. And who prints a discount permanently on an awning?
Strangely, however, the store seems to have been founded in 1998. How is that possible? Maybe all the old look comes from the address' previous tenant. (I'm guessing, a bakery.) Inside, there's a bare-bones assortment of cards, wrapping paper and party accessories.

and Olde English Greetings
The actual business isn't that old, only there for a year or two. BUt it is an old storefront, and the owner has owned various businesses around the neighborhood for decades.
The actual business has only been there for a year or two, although the owner has had several businesses in the neighborhood over the last few decades. Very nice store with fair prices (cards are so overpriced!).
The people who run this store are incredibly unpleasant and rude. Don't shop there if you can help it.
