Not Yet Renovated in Brooklyn

This storefront on Columbia Street always catches my eye. No idea what it once was, but the owner obviously isn't interested in selling or renovating. It gives you a nice idea of the look of most shops back then: the mini-cornice overhead, the twin window displays with the recessed door between, the wood-framing withal. Don't know why it's not copied by more newly erected stores.
