Readers must be thinking by now that I'm a little pumpkin-mad. Well, I am. I think there are few things as simply beautiful and heartwarming as a carved and lit Jack-O-Lantern. And they look pretty good during the day, too.
I noticed these two lovely items yesterday. Above, we see harvest time with the Sacred Family. How Carroll Gardens. And below, a wonderful use of pumpkin guts in a Jack-O-Lantern design, made particularly striking by the employment of a green gourd.
