Carroll Gardens' Red Apple Closes
The Red Apple Chinese takeout joint at the southeast corner of Court and Sackett isn't exactly glamorous. But it is one of the oldest extant businesses in Carroll Gardens. Been there at least 20 years. Well, now it's closed suddenly. Not sure why.
Many old timers will remember this storefront as the longtime location of Vaccarino Flowers.

Hopefully the one on Columbia St closes next...dirtiest chinese place in Bklyn.
I only tried this place once. Even for mediocre take-out Chinese it was sub-par. Equals awful!
I agree with 4.53pm, that place is gross and in the summer their rotting garbage stinks to high heaven!
I'm sure you're all right, the food was terrible. It's closed, is all I'm saying.
