Casa Rosa Gets All Awninged Up

The quote-unquote improvements continue at Casa Rosa, the old-school red-sauce joint on Court Street in Carroll Gardens. Following the installment of a new glass sliding door on the side, the joint just got a new set of awnings out front, which should look just swell for about two weeks, when the Carroll Park pigeons get ahold of them. The old awnings were green. The new ones are red. Hey, gotta stick with the Italian flag colors, don't we?

I highly doubt the flag of Italy had anything to do with the choice of awning fabric...

I highly doubt it didn't.
