I Was Wrong

A couple days ago, I observed that the wall space on Hicks Street near Union in Brooklyn—which last spring was painted over with an ad for Target—was now the canvas for a more fanciful mural, one that didn't sell anything.

I was wrong. My sharper-eyed wife (she's in art) spotted the carefully hidden Target logo in the painting. So its a Target ad after all. A very subtle one. Though I'm still not clear what it's selling, except the vague idea of Target.

Hah! I was fooled too. But I was walking by with my daughter and she pointed it out right away. Kids are amazing.

There's also an arrow on the mural, is it pointing to Target's entrance?

No. the arrow points to the Coffee Den. Hence my confusion. What's the shark got to do with Target?
