I spotted this old-fashiong Post Raisin Bran box on the shelf in the Met Food ("Vintage"!), and was ready to be suckered in by the nostalgic pull of the retro packaging, when I caught sight of the sugar content on the side of the carton. 19g per serving. More than Cocoa Crispies or Sugar Smacks or Trix. Can figure out if that high sugar content if reflective of the eating habits of yesterday or today. Maybe both.
I certainly seem to be analyzing breakfast cereal packaging a lot lately.
