The Only Good Thing
The only good thing about the extended closing of the main Smith Street exit of the Carroll Street F train stop—due to the incredibly selfish enterprise of developer Billy Stein known as 360 Carroll—is that it's opened to regular use the southeastern exit/entrance to that station. And with that passage open, it's possible to see the old, tile sign pointed the direction to Second Street.

Incredibly selfish is the word for it. I live on the corner, and am absolutely shocked that a subway entrance could be shut for (at least) a year because of developer's megalomania. How did the city allow this to occur?
