Union Street Gets a New Coat of Asphalt

Do you think they might finally paint a new bike lane when they're finished?

relatively unrelated but check out 5th ave in the named/lower #'ed streets. they've raised many of the parking signs to astronomical heights (at least 12 feet up in front of al di la) and have installed bases on each block for either muni-meters or parking card refills of some sort.
